Chili Cook-off Winner

El Rancho Brewing Company and Restaurant was the recipient of the 1st Place “People’s Choice” for our red chili at the 2015 Evergreen Big Chili Cook-off. The Big Chili Cook-Off is a 1 day event which was held on 12th September 2015 at the Buchanan Park. Our Chef promises to include the chili on our menu. There were 27 ingredients in our red chili. The ingredients showcased our Chef Tom’s exceptional skill as a master butcher with his inclusion of homemade sausage in the chili.

The event proceeds benefit the local mountain fire departments from Elk Creek, Evergreen, Indian Hills, Inter Canyon, North Fork & Platte Canyon – and the Blue Spruce Kiwanis Foundation in Evergreen, USA.
