We offer traditional pub fare like burgers, wings, fish & chips and even grilled cheese for the little tykes;
but our specialty is our BBQ which is slow-cooked in our smokers. We also have salmon, trout, bison, lamb, chicken,

the finest steaks, salads and veggie burgers. Our signature appetizers and deserts are a must-try!

The History

El Rancho was built in 1948 by the Jahnke family as a trading post. In 1953 they sold it to the Zipprichs who, with their daughter & son-in-law, the McEncroes, operated it as a regionally premiere restaurant until selling it in 1988. Various families then owned and operated it until it's eventual closing in 2012.

In November 2015 the Vincent families reopened the beautifully renovated restaurant as brew pub.

The updated El Rancho is dedicated to serving the community as a gathering place with the finest craft beers, exceptional service, & high quality, great value food.

Experience Life at High Altitude

Conveniently located just off I-70 at the El Rancho / Evergreen Parkway exits, our dog-friendly patio and wide, expansive windows look right at one of the most stunning views in all of Colorado: the Continental Divide.

Although we are at 7,686 feet in elevation, it’s not the lack of oxygen that will take your breath away. On the few days a year that we’re not getting our 320 days of sunshine, you can cozy up on a couch by the fire and enjoy a cocktail to warm you up.
